I am pleased to inform you that Dr. Evangeline Parsons Yazzie and Dr. Louise Lockard have agreed to co-chair the 15th annual Stabilizing Indigenous Languages Symposium (SILS) at Northern Arizona University’s new High Country Conference Center in Flagstaff, Arizona, on May 2 & 3, 2008. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Margaret Noori, Bethany Townsend, Megan Zdrojkowski, Eastern Michigan University’s Institute for Language Information & Technology (The LINGUIST List), and the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Nation for the wonderful 14th Conference they hosted at Mount Pleasant, Michigan, last month.
