*DEADLINE JANUARY 20th **New Eva Tulene Watt/First People's Scholarship for Indigenous North Americans/American Indians** *In honor of Apache elder Eva Tulene Watt, whose family story is published in "Don't Let the Sun Step Over You,"the Southwest Oral History Association (SOHA) has established a First Peoples Scholarship.* *The purpose of the scholarship is to provide assistance to help indigenous oral history practitioners attend and participate in the annual SOHA conference.* *The 2007 SOHA conference will be held April 20-22 in Fullerton, California. * *An award of up to $500 will be made, the amount to be determined by the relative cost of travel to the conference.
